About me ( I )

Thursday, May 12th, 2005

Hmm so here I’ll begin a story about myself. So let it begin now, and let it be an autobiography of a man named Sal.

My name is Salman and this is a story about me. Well to begin with I was born in the Urban town of jakarta, marked 11th februari 1986. Well I could say that it was the day when Thomas Alfa Eddison was borned, so maybe I thought to myself maybe I could do the same kind of thing eddison did for the world.

Well I was born kind of unique, see I had this what do you call, white coloured figure. Because of that almost everybody called me "Bule Depok" Well those were the days I really hate being called "bule" And I also had a very large forehead you see. Well that almost explain how unique, or should I say weird kind of guy, hehehe

When I was a kid I was very close to my grandpa, he was in the navy. You know back then i really wanteds to go into the millitary. Well my father was studying in America for about 2-3 years for postgraduate. So that explains why I was so close with my grandpa.

And so it came the day that made a great shift towards my life. The day when my father returned and brought the family to America. I had to seperate from my grandpa, and all my friends. This shalt be the begining of my life as a nomaden person, a life that does not really have friends that are really close, but lots of normal friends.

So it was such a cool experience there in the states, well I lived in Chicago, Illinois not very far from downtown. Well I entered Healy elementary school. I almost remembered the first day of school just like it was yesterday. You see life really is fast. Well It was hard though the first day of school, I couldn’t understand a thing the teacher said, than again how could I, I don’t know english??? hehehe, well it took me 3 months to understand this language, unique how I couldn’t remember this proses.

Well Life as a good school boy went on. In America if you get to school early in the morning you could get free breakfast and doughnuts you know, hohoho it was delicious.

In America we had a moving class, the same concept used in College life in Indonesia, well it was kind of fun, oh yes we really do have our own lockers you know… I like the learning system in America, they really focused on practice not teory, darn Indonesia when do you learn that teory sucks, I remember back then in seconf\d grade, we had this science project, and I still remember almost in detail what happened back then. We children were just astonished looking at phenomenas in this world, My project was about chemical extraction of a vegetable. Oh yes every day I was picked up by the yellow school bus, yes the bus that you all see in the movies, well got to admit it was an experience of a life time.
